Easiest claim process

We have been with Healthy Paws insurance for over 4 years and we are very happy with our choice. For us this insurance continues to play a huge part in assuring that our dog has access to the best available medical care. Their app is very easy to use and seamless to submit a claim. Sometimes in less than 2 days we get the results from the claims and then in less than a week we would receive the reimbursement check. Highly recommended plan with the highest % of coverage if possible

Healthy Paws has exceed our expectation…

Healthy Paws has exceed our expectation when it came to health insurance for our French bulldog. Our bulldog had a problem with his back and he needed to see a urologist and have an MRI. Healthy paws covered most of the expense and ensured the our pet got the best care possible. They also sent us an email checking to see how he was doing. They care and it shows.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
