Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

There were many pet insurance providers out there when we were researching but luckily we chose healthy paws. Unfortunately our little Pom was diagnosed with a luxating patella and in need of knee surgery. As a nervous pet owner, healthy paws was more than resourceful to describe coverages and the claim process. Amazing service, caring and claims were processed expeditiously. Thank you healthy paws for helping our Pom to get the care she needed. Highly recommended!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Healthy Paws! My 11 month old puppy had to get surgery for a Stage 3 medial patellar luxation and my husband and I were so worried about the costs. We submitted the claim to Healthy Paws and they approved our claim in 3 days! The covered everything associated with her disgnosis, including blood work, X rays, surgery, post op medications and inflatable recovery collar! I was so impressed by them. I called them after the surgery because my puppy wouldn't take her meds and they said they would cover her meds if we took them to a compounding pharmacy to improve the flavor. They are absolutely amazing! A few days after her surgery, I received an email from Healthy Paws asking how my puppy was doing and to wish her a speedy recovery. You can tell that everyone working for this company really cares about animals. We even received our check from Healthy Paws a week after the claim was approved! I am so incredibly happy we bought this insurance for our puppy. I recommend it to everyone I know how has a dog they love.

At a check-up visit to the vet our little miniature pinscher was diagnosed as a hermaphrodite and would required major surgery. I called Healthy Paws and asked about coverage for "her" surgery. The Customer Service representative answered all my questions and gave me the assurance that I needed. Our little Luna had a successful surgery and within 1 week we received the reimbursement check. I definitely recommend Healthy Paws to anyone!

Well worth the monthly cost and deductible. Is a must-have a very "living on the edge" sort of puppy growing up in New York City.

Our experience has been nothing but amazing. We signed up for insurance as a just in case and it turned out being a life saver for me financially and in all honesty my Boxer Riley. She's developed some stomach issues that have had us in the vet's office endlessly. Having a policy for under a year we were nervous about reimbursement, but Healthy Paws has been great and has paid every single dime they say they will cover, no questions asked. One of the customer service reps even reached out just to check on how she's doing! I've had nothing but the best experience with them in all aspects. If you're on the fence about whether or not to have pet insurance, we highly recommend it, cause you never know and with our circumstance, our boxer is under 2 years old and her vet bills are in the ten thousand dollar range for issues beyond everyday care. Young or old, I would recommend pet insurance, and I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws.
