Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

First off their monthly premium was very competitive and amongst the cheapest, even though they offered me 90% back on all claims whereas most others were lower around 80%. I have been forced to make two claims in quick succession with Healthy Paws. The first was a bill for almost $2000 from surgery which they processed in under a week with no issues. I have a rescue dog so missed some paperwork. Healthy Paws were able to quickly track down themselves to help expedite process. Using the app makes it so easy to make a claim - no forms to fill in at all!! You simply send pics from your phone of the invoice and vet report and they process! Both claims i received exactly the right amount i was expecting. no quibbles. Fast, efficient, easy to deal with and so far good customer service. V impressed.

Healthy Paws has been the only pet insurance we have ever used and the only insurance we will ever have. They are wonderful, very friendly customer service. Fast responses, and very fast return of money back after deductibles!

I have all six of my pets insured with Healthy Paws. (Two dogs, four cats; I'm a veterinary nurse, so pets happen!) My oldest cat, Keats, recently developed a small mass on the bottom of one of his feet. We removed it at my clinic and sent it to the lab for analysis. When the pathology report came back recommending an oncology consult, I knew that soon I would be submitting my first claim to Healthy Paws. The following day he saw the oncologist, and then had a second surgery at the specialty clinic. The bill was $3,237. Within a day of submitting my claim, Healthy Paws issued a reimbursement check for $2,874! The process could not have been simpler and the people at Healthy Paws could not have been lovelier. I am so grateful that Healthy Paws allows me to choose the best course of treatment for my beloved pets without the added stress of financial concerns.
