Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have both my golden retrievers on the insurance. My puppy Séamus I put on at 8 weeks old! My older dog I put on this insurance at 6 yrs old after having terrible experiences with VPI. He's now 11 but he got cancer at 9. They paid all my treatment for him when he had cancer: Surgeries, radiation therapy, followup treatment with his oncologist & physical therapy for over the past 5 years which would have cost me over 20k without Healthy Paws insurance. Never questioned a claim. Pays promptly. Can't say enough good things about them. Comfort in knowing they are here for us.

Our experience with Healthy Paws has been wonderful. Not only do the employees provide prompt service, they are concerned and caring individuals, clearly genuine pet lovers. Our dog has recently experienced a total hip replacement and not only was the claim easy to initiate, and quick to be settled, the employees showed concern for his progress and healthy wellbeing. Years back I had a Labrador Retriever, he was a wonderful, fun loving dog. Unknown to us he came from a puppy mill, we found that out later after it was reported that the store owner was lying about the true origins where the puppies come from. He later was diagnosed with several illnesses, diabetes that led to him going blind, hip dysplasia, and later cancer. We were devastated to know that he would need the type of treatment that we just couldn't afford to pay out of packet. He later passed and I swore never to pay for another pet without having the right insurance to protect him. After doing my research on pet insurance I found Healthy Paws, as one of the best pet insurance company for our next pet. My only regret was that I didn't know about them prior to getting my beloved Labrador Retriever.A little over a year ago we got Charlie a happy go lucky Morkie, first thing I bought him was Healthy Paws pet insurance. At first I thought of it as an asset but later realized they are more like a partner. After Charlie was diagnose with a kidney disorder, we began treatment and without Healthy Paws we would had been going throw a horrible ordeal all over again. When I contacted Healthy Paws the representative quickly put my mind at ease. We were able to get Charlie the treatment he needed, to live a long and healthy life. I'm happy to say after his treatment he is doing much better. That might of not being the out come if not for Healthy Paws being by our side. They've being helping us with the best customer service support and coverage in the market. I couldn't be happier that I chosed them for Charles health insurance.

Our two year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever injured her hind leg and needed expensive TPLO surgery. We're in the process of buying our first home, and this unforeseen expense could have been a major set back for us if it weren't for the Healthy Paws team who assured us that based on our policy, most of the cost would be covered. Our claim was processed very quickly, which helped us to avoid any issues with our lender. We really appreciate how quickly everything was taken care of!
