Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

In January our Russian Blue cat Chorri was attacked at 6 am by 3 coyotes. He was dying when we scared the coyotes away. We rushed him to the nearest vet, where he was put on IV fluids and antibiotics and stayed inpatient for 3 nights. He pulled through, amazingly. The costs were edging up towards $3,000 and I was very nervous, having never experienced a real medical problem with Chorri before. This was the first time I had purchased pet insurance, and I was hoping for the best. Healthy Paws was AMAZING. From the first contact, to the last payment, the office staff were receptive, empathetic, and the checks arrived in the mail within a few days of my attaching them as .pdf files to my emails. We paid 10% of the total, after the one-time annual deductible. What a relief to know that if anything should happen in the future, we will be covered. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws has been great. They have a very reasonable premium and with their wide coverage and quick service I've never had a problem with a claim. Reggie had to have a pricey knee surgery and Healthy Paws took care of it with no hassle. Now he's back to his old self and long walks.
