Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Once you get through the process of sending your pet's full medical history the company is great! My 6 year old dog just had to have TPLO surgery on her leg and I submitted the claim on a Friday and Saturday morning I received an email that it was approved. The check came the following week. Their claims department was so helpful, especially Sara H, and they even followed up to see how she was doing! That's more than my vet did! They are a great company and we are so glad we had insurance to cover the $3500 surgery! Thank you Healthy Paws

After researching several pet insurance companies, we decided to go with Healthy Paws because of their great reviews and ratings. While insurance is one of those bets you hope you never need to use, it’s reassuring to know that it’s there when you need it. Our otherwise-healthy Scottish terrier became very sick one night and required emergency surgery and several days in the hospital to recover. While our primary concern was the health and survival of our dog, the mounting bills weighed on our minds as well. It was comforting to know that Healthy Paws would be there. Having heard and experienced horror stories about the claims process with human insurance, we were prepared for the worst. Fortunately, we were pleasantly surprised when after submitting the hospital bills and claim form, we received a reimbursement check a week later with everything that we were expecting to be covered. I cannot say enough great things about Healthy Paws – they exceeded our expectations and truly come through when we needed them!
