Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We looked into the various pet insurances and found this one to be the perfect one for us. This is the first time we bough pet health insurance and are so appreciative of the quickness in response. Our previous dog had osteosarcoma who lived 5 more years after that. Needless to say out of pocket expenses for chemotherapy amounted to more than $20,000. We did not have health insurance, just glad our daughters finished college!. So we were ready to adopt a new puppy, pet insurance was on our mind. Lucy is now three but we certainly did not think we'd need to use our insurance since she was still so young. However, she contracted a rare form of fungus in her nasal cavity, that had the capability of forming more colonies and enter the cranial plate. Luckily, we caught it in time and had to have two procedures to ensure eradication of the fungus. We are truly grateful to Healthy Paws for their quick response and policies. Within 7-10 days we received a response.

There are no words to describe what an amazing company this is. When our pug needed emergency life saving surgery, I only had to worry about getting her well, not how we were going to pay for it.
