Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

My dog has had multiple issues in only his first year of life: ear infections, allergies, giardia, and a luxating patella. The surgery for his knee alone was $1700. Healthy paws has been amazing in helping with all of his medical expenses. They are affordable and submitting claims with them is a breeze. They are very quick in processing their claims and reimbursement never takes more than a week or two. They are also one of the few pet insurance companies with a personal touch. I received an e-mail from them after my dogs' ortho surgery checking in on how he was recovering. Top notch service and highly recommended!

I took my beloved Bella to emergency due to acute kidney issues. She ended up staying in hospital for 5 days. I was able to concentrate on her health and not worry. Healthy Paws processed and paid my claims before I got my credit card statement. They emailed me to check up on her progress. My own doctors don't even do this!

We can't be grateful enough to Healthy Paws. When we first heard of pet insurance, we thought, how silly—but we signed up anyway because so many fur parents encouraged us to. And now we know why. Our precious five-year-old dog recently had to go to the ER vet maybe 5 times in two weeks because her face kept swelling up with a big hard mass. Healthy Paws was there for us all the way, and she finally had an MRI and surgery, which we could not have done if it weren't for Healthy Paws. We also have an upcoming CCL surgery, but given Healthy Paws history, we are no longer as worried about the cost. The claims are so easy to file with the app, and they process them so quickly. And the reimbursement check arrives very soon after the claim is processed! They are so incredibly efficient—if only health insurance for humans could be as efficient.

Great insurance company. So easy to file a claim using their mobile app and a very quick turnaround time for getting paid. The only thing that would be even better would be if they offered well care. When one of my dogs passed, they sent me a condolence card hand signed by their employees!

My boxer's health issues started at age 1 when he came down with autoimmune meningitis. Luckily I had purchased Healthy Paws insurance some months prior. He is now 3 1/2 and has just been diagnosed with his 3rd bout of meningitis. This medical condition led to other health problems, including a staph infection in a disc in his spine. To say the least, the last few years have required very expensive medical diagnosis and treatments. Healthy Paws' online submission site is easy to use and fast. I get my reimbursement check right away. I find Healthy Paws much easier to deal with than my own health insurance. I'm so grateful that my boxer is getting the medical attention he needs and is living a high quality of life. Without this hassle-free insurance, I'm not sure how we could have afforded all of his medical needs.
