Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had 2 other pet insurance companies for my dogs in the past, including Trupanion. Healthy Paws has been by far the best experience I have had. They allowed my senior pet to join at an still great rate. I find it easy to communicate with them through the phone and email. I downloaded the app and it is a wonderful way of updating payment methods and submitting claims. They follow up promptly and checks arrive back quickly. I recommended the insurance to my mom to use on her dog and she is having a great experience with them as well. They follow up after procedures to see how your pet is doing. Approachable, modern and easy. Highly recommended it.

I never thought I'd even consider pet insurance, but thank goodness I got it. When I had my first claim, I was prepared for problems! Well, no problems, in fact I've been amazed at the customer service. My pet baby almost died, I'm so thankful I didn't have to think about cost. I've received emails from Healthy Paws just checking to see how my baby is doing. Oh and payment was received within days!! Well worth the cost (very affordable)!

Healthy Paws Customer Care staff is amazing. They have been so kind, understanding, sympathetic and efficient in handling our claim for our 6-year old beagle who developed an extremely aggressive cancer that took him from us in only 1 month's time. They were very helpful with assisting me in filing the claim, and followed up with me every step of the way, advising if they needed additional information to process the claim, and contacting my vet to get the info they needed. They completed the process within a week and paid exactly what I expected based on the policy I had. At a time when we are still reeling from the events of this past month, it's comforting to know Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was there for us. I highly recommend them.

Healthy Paws is the best! Filing a claim is simple and they always get back to you so quickly. After they review your claim, they'll send you an invoice and have your check shipped within a few days! They even follow up with you after which is the sweetest :) Our puppy has already been through so much so we're thankful for Healthy Paws! Id' recommend them to any pet owner. Xoxo

I want to commend Healthy Paws staff for helping me coordinate with the hospital while my dog was being attended to after falling off a cliff. The sticker shock for taking her to the best emergency care vet was another 1-2 punch on top of the stress of dealing with her emergency. Healthy Paws staff made me feel at ease immediately. I happened to be on the phone with HP's representative while the doctor came into the room with my dogs assessment and estimate for her veterinary care through her recovery period. My jaw dropped when I heard how much it was going to cost and the HP associate immediately communicated that I should take comfort in knowing my doggy was covered for the very best care and that I should focus on my pup instead of worrying about the costs involved, I received my reimbursement check (I chose the 80% reimbursment policy) from Healthy Paws within a few days after submitting her bills.I posted her story on Facebook with a link to Healthy Paws site, and 3 people signed their dogs up that day (that's only the one's I know of, there may be more). Once my dog can return to her local dog park, you can bet we'll be telling all our dog friends about Healthy Paws. I also posted the cute get well card their staff signed and sent her. There's a good reason why Healthy Paws is the top rated pet insurer. Unless they had someone at the bottom of the cliff to catch her, there's nothing more they could have done to help. Healthy Paws is truly the best.
