Well worth it

HealthyPaws has been amazing. They have never given me a hassle for any claims I've submitted, including large bills for unexpected surgery for my dog, and their customer service has been phenomenal. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have a little extra peace of mind when it comes to potentially unforeseen medical expenses for their pet.

Great Company to Deal With!

These guys are amazing! After a rather large vet bill for one of them, I began to research pet insurance for my 3 very active Aussies. Unlike several other companies i looked at, Healthy Paws spells coverage and exclusions out clearly on their site and sticks to what they promise. No surprises. I like the annual deductible as well. Within a month of purchase and qualification, one of my other dogs blew out her knee requiring surgery. Submitting her medical history and the claim was easy and payment was fast and as advertised. When she required another surgery less than a year later, submission online was even easier and the check came in a week! I give Healthy Paws my highest recommendation. No games, good coverage, super easy to work with, and quick payment. Above all, they do exactly what they promise!

Fantastic coverage and client care!

Not only has Healthy been timely and communicative with their reimbursements but they have gone so far as to follow up with me when my pooch has undergone more significant treatments. The vast majority of pet owners that I know who carry pet insurance have been less than satisfied with their provider so I feel like I have struck gold with Healthy Paws.

Absolutely wonderful company!

Our little Yorkie tore his ACL on the left rear leg and had a fluctuating Patella on the right rear leg. We were deeply concerned when the injury happened. Someone knocked on our homes front door and Buddy got excited and ran towards the door and slipped injuring his rear legs on the tile floor. Healthy Paws absolutely took care of everything and now Buddy is fine after his surgery! Highly recommend Healthy Paws! The people their are great!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
