Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

When we first purchased pet insurance, we prayed we would never have to use it. We realize that this is a business relationship and that we send premiums every month for our insurance on Ozzie and Oscar, but the ease and expediency with which this company responds, the no-hassle reimbursements and coverage, the concern and personal attention they give us is beyond all expectations. The service we have experienced with Healthy Paws is a forgotten courtesy for most companies and takes us back to a time when business was conducted with a smile and honest-to-goodness sincerity. Thank you, everyone at Healthy Paws, for making an otherwise troubling time so much easier to accept.

HealthyPaws has been the best choice for insurance I made for my puppy since I got him 10 months ago, he has been dealing with some pain episodes for the past 6 months, and we've been visiting different doctors to get a proper diagnosis, with bills that exceeded the thousands of dollars. Healthy Paws has been super responsive, and the fact they have no annual maximums, or lifetime maximums is the best thing every, specially when living in a city like San Francisco. 100% recommended. The only thing I regret is not maxing out the reimbursement level.

To be honest, I wasn’t very pleased and actually regretted getting pet insurance for my 3 year old French bulldog. He had pre-existing allergies and absolutely nothing was being covered. I was spending a pretty decent amount in fees every month (which was going up every year) and I highly considered canceling the insurance. Well, fast forward two years later, Healthy Paws has covered not one but TWO back surgeries for my poor French Bulldog who had been diagnosed with IVDD! Not only did they cover the surgery itself, but they also covered the MRI, intensive care, hospital stay and all the shots/medications. I cannot thank them enough for their assistance in my poor pup’s hard times. I cannot recommend Healthy Paws enough for French bulldog owners and/or breeds of dogs susceptible to IVDD. They are a blessing in disguise. Will be sure to use Healthy Paws on all future pets and I certainly recommend it to all my frenchie friends...

I cannot say enough good things about healthypaws. My dog is diabetic and they cover EVERYTHING, including needles and blood glucose curve. They even pay for Dasuquin, a supplement for joint health because he had knee surgery in the past. They paid for the surgery and more than 20 rehab visits. Recently, I spent more than 5K on cataract surgery, a result of his diabetes. The money was direct deposited in my account within days. All I need to do is upload a pic of the invoice via their app, done. I have literally saved thousands with healthypaws. And the best thing is that I never have to worry if I can pay for my best friend’s care. And you can’t put a price tag on that. Thank you healthypaws for playing a big part in my dog’s well being.

Healthy Paws came through in a big way when my dog tore his cruciate ligament. Would have been terrible without them.
