Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Thanks to our Healthy Paws insurance policy we were able to get cancer treatment for our 90 lb Bernese Mountain Dog. After the $500 deductible we were reimbursed for 80% of all charges except for the exam fees. Filing claims is fast and easy and we received our reimbursements by direct deposit within 10 days of filing every claim! Our vet bills totaled around $7,000 or more and our share ended up being about $2,000. Without this insurance we would not have been able to get our precious girl any treatment. That would have been heartbreaking. We cannot say enough good things about Healthy Paws!

Our dog started having what we thought were seizures. Our vet told us to go to a speciality hospital for animals where we were introduced to a neurologist. They had to run a battery of tests and MRI to make a diagnosis and treat our dog. Thanks to Healthy Paws they had the claim paid within one day and EVERYTHING was covered. Each representative I talked to was kind and concerned about my cat. They also were very knowledgeable and helped me get the answers I needed. They even follow up to ask how my cat is doing after my claims have been processed. The claims are processed very quickly. I wish human health insurance companies cared as much as they do.
