What a relief in times of need Healthypaws definitely comes through!!
I cannot express how thankful I am to have healthypaws pet insurance for my poor 5 month old newfoundland puppy. I have always wanted a newfoundland and this past June I purchased the perfect puppy, Odin, from the greenfield puppies sight. After an 8 hour drive and a great deal of money I arrived home with this handsome ball of silver fluff only to find that it appeared that he had a UTI after a week or so of having him. With further investigation, and over $3,000 in vet bills thus far we found out that my poor Odin has a terribly Kidney problem that could possibly terminal. On top of all of this two weeks ago Odin developed a problem with his paw that landed him in my local Emergency Veterinarian Specialist office! They were unsure if he had a fractured growth plate or a torn ligament. So yet again a few thousand dollars later and a night in the hospital we came to find that it was only a swollen fluid pocket that housed a nasty bacterial infection (they believe this could have been because of digging in the yard and getting stung by a wasp!). I could have never afforded the wonderful care that my fur baby received without the aid of Healthypaws. Throughout the last few months it has been a hectic rollercoaster but knowing that I had healthypaws insurance to help cover the costs of treatment I never had to worry about the financial aspect of care and got to solely focus on Odin getting better.

Great Company!
Great company! They make the claim process a breeze and really give you the impression they care for the wellbeing of your pet. This was my second major claim in 3 years, and both times they made the process worry free. Anyone looking to get pet insurance, look no further!

Healthy Paws is the absolute best insurance, if only people insurance were so good!
Healthy paws is the absolute best insurance. They have helped both of our dogs receive the care that we otherwise would not have been able to afford. They check in on the welfare of our dogs after care as well. It's easy to manage claims online and they have people who can quickly and personally help answer questions and problem solve any issues. If only people insurance were so incredibly useful! Healthy Paws is worth every penny.

So worth it.
I have had an incredibly positive experience with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. As brand new dog owners, we purchased a policy for Lola as soon as we adopted her, when she was months old. She was healthy and strong, and we thought we probably had nothing to worry about, yet wanted to be on the safe side.
To my skeptical surprise, this insurance has come to my rescue twice, and I am incredibly grateful.
The first time was when Lola was 3, and she was bit by another dog, and needed $500+ worth of surgery and medicine.
The second time has been over the last 8 months, when Lola had a UTI that required some tests, and then a few month was later when she was diagnosed with aggressive heart disease. At this same time, I was in between jobs, so having Healthy Paws come through on their process, and cover her medications, emergency visits, and tests has been incredibly helpful and a huge weight off my shoulders.
I cannot recommend this plan enough. It is so easy to use, all you do is snap a picture of the receipt, upload it to the app, and the team process and reimburses your claim very quickly.
Additionally, the team at Healthy Paws has been very friendly and personable every time I've contacted them. They truly have been a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend purchasing a plan with them for your pet, as no matter how healthy your pet is when you adopt them, crazy circumstances can ensue, and it's so great to have a trustworthy company like Healthy Paws on your side.

Surpassed all expectations of a pet insurance company
I purchased pet insurance for my puppy expecting to not need it till his late stage of life. He came down with a serious illness when he was only 2 & was then diagnosed with a brain tumor at 4 yrs. Healthy Paws surpassed my wildest expectation of an Insurance company-from ease of filling, speed of processing claims & most importantly, sincere concern for my dog through personalized communication. Having insurance took away the financial burden of already difficult decisions, & Healthy Paws was THE BEST! My dog is doing GREAT, & choosing Healthy Paws was the best decision!!!
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
