We have had healthy paws insurance for 9 years and couldn’t be happier. We have three dogs including a rescued English bulldog. English bulldog=lots of vet bills. Never had a problem with claims being paid, coverage etc and we have easily been to the vet over 100 times for ACL tears, thyroid issues, cancer, dental issues, bladder stones, UTIs, etc. you name it.

Healthy Paws was a huge support for us during a touch and go moment with our dog.
The Healthy Paws team was a dream to work with after our dog dealt with some life threatening issues due to a foreign object/stomach issues.
The team were a huge support and made the ordeal much easier to deal with. Everyone at healthy paws’ professionalism and empathy was outstanding and we are very thankful that we decided to go with them for our girl Pogo. Each person we spoke to was patient, genuine and lovely to deal with.
The team work directly with our vet each time a new treatment plan came in and regularly emailed us to check in Pogo. We can't recommend them more highly.

OUTSTANDING!
I can not say enough positive things about Healthy Paws. My 4 year old Labordoodle was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and given 4 months to live. Looking into our options we found one of the best Pet Oncology centers in the country and they could give her another 2-4 years with no symptoms returning! This was a very pricey treatment. Healthy Paws our portion of the $16000 treatment was $1600.
Amazing. With out this insurance I am not sure we could have taken care of her as we were able to. When speaking to them on the phone the were compassionate and caring. All reimbursements were processed quickly. So lucky we choose them as our insurance.
If you have a animal please get Healthy Paws... they gave my dog the opportunity to double her life with the best care possible.
To top it off we did get a Get Well card from them the other day signed with personal well wishes! So nice.
Forever grateful...I would and do recommend them 100x over a 10!

Why it really is worth it to have pet insurance...
If you have ever met Piper, (or ever watched one of our videos) you know she is a crazy, rambunctious, maniac bowling ball of a dog who constantly runs around, barks, jumps on everything, smashes into cabinets, and then rolls over for you to pet her belly. So when we found her silent and shaking in the kitchen 2 weeks ago, we knew something was up. The hardest part about caring for animals is that they can't tell you what hurts so its often a guessing game of trial and error to help them feel better. And when you have a tough little meatball like Piper who is active & alert, even when she isn't 100%, its even harder to know what's working and what isn't.
For those of you following Pipers story, we finally got to the bottom of her symptoms yesterday after a second trip to the neurologist to get an MRI. She's been walking crooked (albeit with a really cute head tilt) for the last week, and even though she as in good spirits, we just knew something was still off. Her MRI revealed a nasty inner ear infection that had burst her ear drum and the infection has started to "leak" into her brain. I know. Sounds scary AF. And it is. But luckily, we think we caught it just in time, and after 8 week on antibiotics and steroids, she should be ok. (All fingers crossed, prayer & good vibes sent please). I also want to do a shout out to @gohealthypaws Insurance. I have debated over the years if pet insurance is worth it, but I will say, in a moment like this, when you are about to spend thousands of dollars on tests that may or may not work, I was really grateful we had great insurance and money was not one of the deciding factors. Because, honestly, if we didn't get that MRI, we may not have known what was going on in time to treat it effectively. The difference between being able to give her the very best care and "waiting a few weeks/days to see how she improves" quite literally saved her life.

Healthy Paws is a Lifesaver
Healthy Paws is a silver lining when our cat was seriously injured. In the panic at first I actually forgot I had this insurance but knew I had to save our pet. Once we learned he would survive but needed a difficult surgery,I remembered Healthy Paws. What a relief. Filing a claim is as easy as taking a snapshot. Claims are processed in a few days and paid quickly as well. Staff are kind,helpful and genuinely care. I would recommend this company to every pet owner.
$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.
Coverage
One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more.
You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.
Deductible
You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750*
*Choice depends on age of the pet
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
