Highly Recommend

Healthy Paws is amazing. My dog tore his ACL and needed surgery. I called to make sure the survey was covered and spoke to an amazing person who was extremely nice and helpful. I would have thought twice if he didn't have insurance but this gave me peace of mind. They also informed me of after care which I was completely unaware. Once bills are submitted, they are reviewed and paid out very quickly which is really nice. I appreciate that they reach out to check on my pet to make sure he's doing well. I would highly recommend to anyone considering pet insurance, you will not be disappointed.

VERY happy with Healthy Paws

My dog had to have emergency surgery that was both unexpected and very expensive. Healthy Paws provided my reimbursement VERY quickly and made the process VERY easy. We're feeling very good about our decision to get insurance with Healthy Paws.

a great investment for your pet, and your peace of mind

I got insurance with Healthy Paws when I brought my baby home and it has been a really great investment for our family. The claims process is very simple and the reviews are fast and transparent. The staff does a good job of explaining the benefits and the claim resolution. Customer service is A1... staff is really concerned about your pet.

You really need to listen to what I have to say about Healthy Paws

This is one amazing insurance company. Typically speaking, the bottom line of an insurance company is to mitigate their losses as best as possible while providing the bare minimum service needed to stay in business. You absolutely do not get that with Healthy Paws. They make sure your claims are paid in full and within a very quick reimbursement turnaround period. I have never waited more than 24 hours to get confirmation of my reimbursement for any covered medical costs. In addition to making sure I have the financial means to keep my animal family healthy, they take a personal interest in making sure both my animals and I are doing okay. For example, my dog was diagnosed with a malignant intestinal cancer on a Tuesday morning. The surgery to remove his tumor began Tuesday afternoon. Not only did Healthy Paws reimburse the costs of the surgery by Tuesday evening, they made sure to check in constantly to see how my dog’s progress was and how I was doing. In addition to that, as my dog began to undergo Chemotherapy to eliminate any residual effects of the cancer, Healthy Paws stayed vigilantly by my side the entire time with words of encouragement for both my dog and I and a steadfast willingness to cover all the medical costs during the process. I can’t express how much I appreciate Healthy Paws. I consider myself to be an ardent member of the Healthy Paws family and I always will be. I recommend you do the same. You won’t be disappointed.

HealthyPaws set an entirely new bar for me when I think about what customer service should be like.

I made a joke the other day about wanting to quit my job and go work at HealthyPaws because my experience with them has been unlike anything I've had with any other company before. Let me tell you about my dog, Maddie. She's only a bit over a year old and she's the happiest, most loving, silly dog I've ever known. She was fully vaccinated; never even a single day late for a shot or a booster. She spoiled rotten and I take every step possible to make sure she is healthy and being taken care of. I noticed she wasn't feeling well so ended up at our regular vet 3 days in a row doing X-rays, ultrasounds and ultimately just getting meds to treat what we suspected to be just a bad upset tummy and bout of diarrhea and nausea. Unfortunately the 4th day she was rushed to the doctor, unresponsive and covered in blood and drool from throwing up all night. After who knows how many tests, my doctor figured out that she had Parvo. Parvo? Yep. My fully vaccinated dog apparently had the worst luck in the world and would spend the next 7 days in puppy ICU/Isolation fighting for her little life, all while I was sitting at home feeling like I'd gotten hit by a train myself. The VCA is expensive; the waiting times are insane; it feels busier than busy every time I'm in there, but when my dog was dying I had the unfortunate pleasure of seeing exactly why all of those not-so-fun parts of visiting them are true. The bills added up....and they added up QUICKLY. I paid few days in a row, but then called HealthyPaws (frantically) to make sure that all of this was something that would even be covered. Not only were they the most compassionate, loving, and kind group of people I've ever spoken with, they also took over EVERYTHING and made sure that all of my reimbursements were sent via FedEx overnight and they called the hospital directly to inquire about being able to pay them directly to take the stress off of my back. Once everything was said and done my dog was home, safe and happy, and HealthyPaws made an epically terrible experience a lot less stressful. I don't think I could possibly say enough good things about my interactions with their employees and the kindness they showed me. I will be a lifelong customer, and a very very happy one.
