Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is fantastic to deal with! They covered my dog's hospitalization and surgery claim quickly and as promised. The claim process was simple and their communication was excellent. They stayed in touch with me with updates every step of the way! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to every pet owner.

Good customer support and easy claim process

I was very happy with calling customer support and getting information about what is covered by the insurance. There is amazingly easy way to upload bills on website. Once this is done healthy paws do the rest.

The best

Helps us do everything we can!

Have nothing but the best to say about healthy paws. Our girl has torn both of her acls and we have had zero issues with coverage. It is amazing to know we can take care of her and not have to stress about such a ginormous bill. We wouldn’t have been able to have surgery once let alone twice without healthy paws. Good for all the sniffles and bumps along the way too!

Great Service and Rapid Processing

We have been highly pleased with our HeathyPaws insurance. We got insurance the week we got our puppy and it was the best decision we’ve made as dog owners. At 10 months old, our dog encountered some serious digestive issues (he’s fully recovered now) and claims were processed quickly and our payments from HealthPaws arrived quickly.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
