Getting Healthy Paws Pet Insurance was the BEST decision I ever made!

I did extensive research comparing pet insurance before buying. I went with Healthy Paws. I only made 3 payments when my puppy had to have emergency surgery for an obstruction. Healthy Paws provided wonderful customer service prior to the operation. All I had to do was submit the bills and support documentation and i had the reimbursement check within a week! This is a great company!

Healthy Paws is the best!

Randy my dog suddenly grew an ugly lesion on his lip. The vet recommended surgery right away. Healthy Paws stepped right up and helped pay for the surgery. Then additional pathology was necessary to rule out lymphoma. During this process there were several calls to Healthy Paws with coverage questions, even on a Sunday! Each call was answered by a caring voice that really sounded concerned about Randy. Professional, caring, and knowledgeable, incredible service. The last call was last week when I happily reported Randy is cancer free.

Feline Dental Surgery

My kitty needed extensive dental surgery. Thankfully he is doing much better now. He was losing so much weight and couldn’t eat before the surgery that I feared for his life. He hadn’t been purring for quite a while and his energy was low. The first 10 days after surgery he had a lot of discomfort and I was concerned that the surgery wasn’t a success but on the 11th day he was back to normal. He’s doing fine now and I am so relieved! I am grateful that Healthy Paws covered his surgery. If I had paid the entire bill out of pocket it would’ve caused me financial stress.

Wish they covered humans

I signed up for Healthy Paws when I adopted my pittie 7 years ago. I am so glad I did. They have been awesome! Gracie is my gold plated pound puppy. She has had a lot of health issues along the way and a few ER visits. She had a bilateral TPLO when she was 3 and Iast week she was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery to remove a tumor. After her surgeries they email and ask how she is doing and to give her a big hug. Wow! They have always paid claims without question and even paid something that normally wasn't covered (and clearly stated in their policy) only because my pup was so sick. Claims are easy to submit and always processed quickly. I am so thankful I have this insurance. There is no way I could have afforded all of Gracie's surgery and medications otherwise. And it is clear that they care about the pets and not just about money. Too bad human health insurance isn't this awesome! Human health insurance companies should learn from Healthy Paws!
