Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

When my Jack Russel-Shih Tzu (that's right, she's a JackShitz named Lola) turned 5, i knew that obtaining health insurance for her was a smart idea. Well, it's definitely turned out to be the best decision that I've ever made for her and the reason for this is that I ended up choosing Healthy Paws as her insurance provider. Throughout her life this company has been incredible in processing and paying out the medical claims that I have submitted. Additionally, their staff are very compassionate and understand how stressful it can be to have your dog undergo serious medical procedures. Having Health Paws for Lola has been an amazing asset as she has gotten older in life and I cannot stress what a quality company this is for pet owners!

I am so fortunate to have Healthy Paws insurance for my pets. Earlier this year I lost my sweet lab/golden to brain cancer, but for all of the pain and heartache this caused, Healthy Paws never skipped a beat keeping up with reimbursement of the bills and I never had to question one item over the 4-5 months of treatment. Since then I have adopted a rescue, husky mix, who is just about a year old. I insured him immediately, and what a good thing that was! At about 5 months he had an eyelash growing into his eye that had to be surgically removed and again Healthy Paws was completely on top of processing the bills and reimbursement was quick. A little more recently, this ornery pup tore up and ate parts of a crate mat (we assume). Thankfully he did not need surgery, but the 24 hrs in emergency care to re hydrate him and keep him stable and out of pain while he passed all of it was a costly bill. Again Healthy Paws didn't waste any time getting the bill processed and reimbursed. Healthy Paws has my business for as long as I have pets. Thank you!
