Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

We joined Healthy Paws 6 years ago when we added Chloe to our family. We had never tried "Pet Insurance", but decided to try it this time. For 6 years we have paid into Healthy Paws and never used it. Now, with Chloe's continued ear infections we have had to go to a specialist to help get answers. Healthy Paws has stood beside us and paid our claims in a timely manner. A decision wisely made to carry "Pet Insurance" -- you never know if or when you will ever need it! Thanks you so much!!

My dog had to have emergency surgery, quite unexpectedly. While he was still under treatment and healing, I submitted my claim. Healthy Paws was quick to respond, and came through with resolving my claim in a very timely manner. I loved that they continually checked in on my pet's well-being throughout the process and his recovery. I'm so glad I invested in pet insurance with them, and would highly recommend them to all new pet owners. If only human health insurance was so easy to navigate!

I am so grateful I chose HealthyPaws for pet insurance - when I got my pup Finny, he was a rescue from a horrible situation, and I got him pet insurance at the behest of my mom since “you never know what’s gonna happen”. I didn’t have any need to use the insurance, but about 5 months later, I took him to the vet for something unrelated and they detected a heart murmur. A cardiologist then determined he had a congenital heart condition that required a $5000+ surgery - I had no qualms about getting him the surgery since I knew Healthy Paws would reimburse me. Not only did they cover his $600 echocardiogram, but all intermittent testing and his eventual surgery. I submitted the claims as soon as I got them, and all were processed very quickly - some within a day, others about five days. I didn’t receive a single phone call asking for further explanation, just an email wishing my dog well and a direct deposit in my account. I’m staying with them for the rest of my dog’s life, as they let me give him the best care available without worrying about what it would cost to save his life. I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone who has a dog or cat, and I will get them if I ever get any more pets. Couldn’t be happier.

Great insurance. Everything is very smooth. Anything that is a higher cost takes a little longer to process but not too long. My dog has cushings and recently tore his CCL so it was nice to have insurance to cover those things.

My GSD had to have ligament surgery, Healthy Paws paid the claims, no questions asked. They made it so easy to submit claims, great communication, and I didn’t have to worry about anything accept helping Holly heal.
