Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

When we found out at our dog's one-year checkup that he had a severe heart condition with a life expectancy of only a couple more years, we were devastated. Luckily, we both found a surgeon who specialized in treating the condition and had Healthy Paws insurance coverage in place from the day we brought our dog home at 8 weeks old. Healthy Paws provided tremendous support throughout our dog's ordeal and it was a great comfort knowing Healthy Paws had our (and our dog's!) back. Decisions to spend large amounts on surgical treatments for your pet are hard enough, but when you have a partner like Healthy Paws on your side it at least makes those decisions a lot easier. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone considering purchasing dog insurance, whether its for the high level of coverage as described above, or simply assisting with the multitude of routine pet care costs that you will inevitably face over the life of your pet. It is money well-spent!

I took out insurance on my puppy because I was worried about her maybe eating something she shouldn't or suffering problems in her later life. Never did I imagine I would have to have her operated on at 8 months for a growth problem with her leg. As upsetting as it was to have her go through that operation the speed and ease of the claim process made the financial stress much less.
