Healthy Paw Pet Insurance was so amazing when my Bo got hit by a car, they made a horrible situation less stressful

I had so much more to worry about then money when my dear baby got hit and broke both his front legs. Healthy Pet was there, so easy to deal with and so caring always checking in on my guy. Why wouldnt you carried pet insurance with Healthy Pet, pray you never need it but when you do you will be relieved you have it.

The Best!

I just sent a review but I really wanted to elaborate on our story with insurance. we adopted a puppy at 10 weeks old and I immediately got insurance for her. I picked a different company and all was fine. About 7 months later my puppy needed surgery for her hip and the company I had would not pay for any surgery until I had the insurance company for a year. I wasn't going to make my puppy wait three months for surgery because it was painful so I paid out of pocket and never was reimbursed. After this experience I switched insurance companies and I am so happy that I did. Heathy Paws is great and they make the whole experience easier on you not harder like the previous insurance company. Now my dog will be three and Im so glad I switched Insurance companies. Like I said in my other review I tell everyone I know who asks or has an animal that Healthy Paws is the best!!

I recommend Healthy Paws to everyone. They are wonderful!

I am very happy with this company. They review your claims right away and send payments fast. I recommend them to everyone I see who has animals. My dog had knee surgery 2 weeks ago and I received payment in one week after surgery. Best company!

We couldn't ask for a better Pet Insurance Company!

My sweet Pug, Buddy, just turned 12 in December and we have been with Healthy Paws since he was 6. They have been with us with every twist and turn of his health. We are so glad that we picked the right Pet Insurance Company! They really care about our boy. They make it so easy to file a claim and to get reimbursed. He's had a few surgeries over the years and they always send an email, asking how he's doing, which is so nice! We have just been delighted that they have enabled us to give our boy the care that he has deserved over the years. I would not hesitate in recommending Healthy Paws Pet Insurance to anyone, in fact, I do recommend them to everyone, because they are that good!

Great company. Easy to deal with. Process claims and reimbursements in a very timely manner. What more could you ask for?

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
