Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Paying for insurance is never fun, but like any other insurance it is a necessity when something goes wrong! Each claim I filed was handled efficiently and the explanations were easy to comprehend. I appreciate the quick turn around time to be reimbursed and the customer service I received towards the end of my pups care. A nice note was sent to me from the Healthy Paws team to check on my dog and wish her well. I love the convenience of the mobile app and the submittal process for claims. Very easy, Thank you!

Healthy Paws provides excellent customer service and their response time for reimbursement is excellent. They accept the claim without hassle and reimbursement came within a week of filing my claim! It was such a relief when I recently had to hospitalize my little dog to know they would be there for me. It made decisions infinitely easier for me! I even got a follow up e-mail from them asking how my dog was doing. Very sweet. My only suggestion is that they cover exams as well - especially those in the service of an illness or injury. There is no way to get treatment without the vet examining the dog! I can (almost) accept them not covering well-visits - although I wish those were covered too, but when a dog is sick it is a necessity.

Didn't think I would ever need to use this and quite often complained to my wife about the monthly bill. But when the time came and we had several thousands of dollars in vet bills, I was glad we had it. I easily filed my claims and within days was reimbursed. They also kept me updated on the status of my claims as the progressed through the process.
