Amazing company

Every contact I have with Healthypaws is amazing. I have 2 large breed dogs insured by them and sign their praises to anyone who will listen. One of our dogs recently had to have a major surgery (over $4000) and healthypaws customer service did everything they could to ensure that it went smoothly and even worked out a direct pay with the veterinarian so we didn't have to come out of pocket for the majority of the cost. That is major when you are unexpectedly hit with a $4000 bill. They have checked in our pup since surgery as well. I refer them to all the pawrents I know.

Excellent Choice

Prompt, friendly customer service. Extremely easy to work with. Very caring staff-checks in on your pet after procedures. Various options of insurance coverage-not too expensive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for any type of coverage for their pet.

The best pet insurance you can get!

The best pet insurance you can have! Unfortunately, my dog has had two catastrophic injuries and without Healthy Paws, we would have been able to treat her as the vet bills were in the tens of thousands both times. The process of submitting a claim is effortless and takes less than 30 seconds. They reimburse you very quickly and always check up to see how your pet is doing. I can’t recommend Healthy Paws enough!

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
