The best pet insurance you can get!

The best pet insurance you can have! Unfortunately, my dog has had two catastrophic injuries and without Healthy Paws, we would have been able to treat her as the vet bills were in the tens of thousands both times. The process of submitting a claim is effortless and takes less than 30 seconds. They reimburse you very quickly and always check up to see how your pet is doing. I can’t recommend Healthy Paws enough!

Healthy Paws claim service was outstanding

I had filed claims previously not knowing what would be or would not be covered. The Healthy Paws service team was very helpful in providing an explanation for me. Then, when Coco needed emergency surgery for a urinary track problem I couldn't believe the total cost. However, I submitted the claim. The claim and service team were very responsive and provided excellent communication. The claim was approved and the check was received very quickly. I am so glad I decided to have coverage through Healthy Paws.

Very reliable

Pet illness can as bad or worse than people illness and healthy paws helped ease the painful time. They were considerate, empathetic and caring. Thank you very much.

My daughter used Healthy paws for her dog, so after reading all the reviews on all the pet insurance companies available, I too chose Healthy Paws. It is easy to upload claims from the app on your phone. The claims are handled quickly and efficiently. They also email you back to check on your pet. That was an added bonus and so nice. I highly recommend this company.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
