Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

The caring customer service staff at Healthypaws provided rays of caring sunshine during the nightmare of our dog being run over by one of our employees. When I called in to ask a question or check the status of my claim, I had a competent and empathetic ear on the other end of the line. I was truly surprised at how much of our claim was reimbursed. I used to think pet insurance was a frivolous investment I would never use. Boy was I proved wrong when our golden Sandy was the picture of health with zero preexisting conditions at age 6 when we added a new puppy to our family. We decided to get insurance for the puppy and then said why not do the same for Sandy? Six months later Sandy was run over and required major hip surgery. I now recommend pet insurance to anyone with pets as life changes in an instant, emergency medical care is costly and getting reimbursed is sometimes the only good thing that comes out of tragic situations with your furry loved ones.

Healthy Paws is an amazing company with incredible customer service! Submitting a claim is as easy as uploading a picture of your vet bill with your phone. Reimbursement checks are received within a couple weeks and they send you an email asking how your pet is doing! This is a business that cares about it's customers. It is such a comfort knowing that my fur babies will always have access to the best available medical care. It's worth every penny!

Healthy Paws makes it easy to upload receipts and track claim progress. They are very timely and claims are explained in simple terms.

We have a Bernese Mountain Dog that developed irritable bowel disease and extremely elevated liver enzymes about a year and a half ago. Since that time, we have spent approximately $1,000 a month for blood work and meds. Healthy Paws has been wonderful to work with. We have never had to hassle with them over any bill and have been reimbursed the agreed 80 percent shortly after we submit each bill. Reimbursement is made easy with Healthy Paw's app which allows you to take a picture of any bill and automatically submits it to the company.
