Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I did all the research to choose a Pet insurance for my 3 rescue's and after careful consideration, I chose healthypaws. It wasn't just about price, but also service, and their involvement as stewards to help other animals. I'm grateful for their phenomenal service with my Pug Gus, and also Frankie and Pablo who have also had visits that healthypaws reimbursed for. It's a great benefit to get pet insurance, but more importantly, it's something your pet deserves, and will give them a healthy and longer life. Without healthypaws, sometimes people have to make sad decisions they normally wouldn't have because of the financial consequences. healthypaws gets rid of that problem, and it's such a relief to have that sense of peace and security. Had this insurance for about three years now for my cat who is now 8 years. He was diagnosed with asthma and has had more than the usual number of vet visits lately. Our rescue puppy, Emmett, swallowed a squeaker from a toy—classic puppy move—and required emergency GI surgery to remove the foreign body. The surgery and recovery were a success, and Emmett is back to playing with his toys. We give credit for this happy ending to ourselves as pet parents for getting him prompt medical attention; the hospital staff for their excellent care; and, last but not least, Healthy Paws for their excellent customer service. Filing the claim was very straight-forward and we liked getting regular follow-up emails on our claim status. We especially appreciated the supportive and caring notes of concern for Emmett from Healthy Paws. Our claim was processed quickly and we received the reimbursement check within one business week. I have had the greatest experience with Healthy Paws pet insurance. Recently, my little 4 year old chocolate lab was battling a bladder stone and urinary tract infection which required medicine, an X-ray and a sample sent to a lab (as well as a retest later). This was my first time needing to submit a claim to them, and I knew right away I had chosen the best insurance. After submitting the first claim and having such a fast response, I knew I was in good hands. Once I passed my deductible, my reimbursements came within a day or two.
