This is my second year with Embrace

This is my second year with Embrace. I have only had great experience with them since day one . All the customer service representative are always so professional and helpful.I highly recommend Embrace.

HORRIBLE 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

Please do yourself a favor and go with another insurance company. My pet was treated for pneumonia and respiratory infection early in life. Later on when she developed a polyp and had to have it removed this company of course found a way around it so they did not have to pay any $, even though they should have, stating she had had respiratory issue in the past, totally unrelated to the polyp! DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have had numerous friends and family sign up for this company at my recommendation and they are all canceling now after this ordeal. Embrace should be ashamed

Disappointed with the service

Disappointed with the service. Two of my claims have been on hold, despite the needed records being sent over via email. The interface is not capable of allowing you to update/push info so someone from Embrace can view the new info. We called and the person who was helping couldn't advise why it was on hold or what the status was. It's been two months with no solid update, not really worth what we've been paying for this service.

STAY AWAY FROM EMBRACE ! They do not pay the claims!

Embrace will look for an excuse to not to pay the claims. In my case I submitted a claim in June3rd 2024, they claimed that they needed the medical records, which i submitted to be accepted as a client, and they indicated they did not received the medical records. Actually I have verbal confirmation they received those medical records and they did not hanged the hold on my claims. Complete Incompetence. I strongly suggest to go to Nationwide Pet Insurance. As soon as I can I will come back to contract that insurance. Pablo Benitez

Embrace has been there for my dog Keanu…

Embrace has been there for my dog Keanu when he was feeling ill. It helps to choose a plan that works well for you and your pet. It helps to get reimbursed after a pricey visit. There was time where Keanu was nauseous for a week and took him to emergency care and the bill was hefty but it helped my little guy. I later got reimbursed a descent amount to help ease my finances due to the deductible I have on his plan. If you want to save some money with certain visits embrace is there and there customer service is there to adjust the plan to your needs.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
