Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

We’ve been with Embrace 13 years, and our pup is really having old age health problems. The premiums have become very high, but the customer service and coverage have been great. We really appreciated it after our Charlie’s emergency overnight hospitalization and all of the expensive medications he’s needed since then! I wish human insurance were more like this!

Takes too long to settle a claim. Considering my dog’s issues, Embrace did not cover his illness expenses

This is my first time actually filing a claim on pet insurance. The fast response and pay out was beyond my expectation. Thank you for making this challenging time a little easier. And thanks to the policy, I was able to do everything I can to help my baby.

I’m not happy with Embrace. While the user interface is simple and intuitive, it seems to me its staff / adjusters are there to find as many loopholes as possible in order to deny paying the claims. Or it that but asking for a full medical review after 4 mo seems unfair and unnecessary. Why not do it in the beginning of the policy period when I still have time to decide if I want to stay on the plan or not? Arbitrary exclusions and now I’m stuck with them. I have 3 dogs and recently switched over from nationwide because of the constant premium hikes, but after having embrace for 4 months and having them deny nearly every claim submitted, I wish I had never changed. Really disappointed.
