Easy claim process

Very easy to submit a claim--took less than 2 minutes. The response from Embrace was timely and satisfactory. I can rest more easily knowing my pets will be covered if they become ill.

Embrace always finds an excuse not to…

Embrace always finds an excuse not to pay what you spend since I have this insurance, they always come up with an excuse. I'm tired of them never paying, a lot of talk but they don't pay. I'm going to change to another insurance that has more peace of mind for me and my dog ​​Lola. I'm retired and I live only on my paycheck and sometimes I think I can't even pay other bills. Omg, how hard it all is.

They’re fine if you have time to argue.

They consistently deny my claims stating my invoice is unclear (the invoice is a direct screenshot or file from email) impossible to be blurry or illegible. I always appeal and send them the exact thing I have already sent them and then it’s good enough.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
