High recommendation for Embrace

Phone representatives are courteous and helpful. If they aren't sure of an answer to a question they check and quickly come back to phone with an answer. Claims are processed quickly and paid according my policy.

This company is horrible

This company is horrible. I had an underwriter decline my dogs SAR diagnosis stating that he had been blind before I adopted him. He had seen at least 5 veterinarians before I put him on the policy and not one of them noted any blindness. It literally happened overnight per my vet who also wrote them a letter. Save your money and go to Healthy Paws. They are a much better carrier. The sad part is that I have Embrace a shot because my agency sells their product. I have told everyone who will listen what a terrible company this is. I haven’t recommended this product to anyone ever again.

I am grateful to have Embrace Pet…

I am grateful to have Embrace Pet Insurance as an option for my cat's insurance needs. I have held an annual policy since 2018 and have had great customer service and support whenever filing a claim. They are incredibly quick in responding which I appreciate very much so.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
