Embrace it has been the greatest choice…

Embrace it has been the greatest choice I did as an insurance of my Italian Greyhound Puppy. Every claim has been paid in a short period of time. Italian greyhounds have very delicate legs and unfortunately my little puppy had 2 fractures in less than 3 months. Embrace have been great reimbursing me the thousands of dollars I had to spend.

Embrace Dog Insurance is the Best.

Embrace has always payed on time and 80 percent of all claims. I have had them for 14 years with my last dog and my current dog and have never incurred a problem. I highly recommend Embrace to all my friends with pets. Diane and Frisco

Slow process and hard to get answers in a timely manner from a representative

We have been members for barely a year and our rate already increased. Our first claim took a while to be processed and it was very simple and straightforward. Our reimbursement has not yet gone through to the proper bank account. I have called and emailed multiple times to get an answer with no luck. Tried to update bank account details on app and it keeps glitching to no success. When I was finally able to update and to talk to someone on the phone, nothing has been done yet and it’s been almost a week. Not what I expected. Don’t want to imagine what happens if you had a complicated claim.

Professional staff and well-rounded insurance products

Darcy was a wonderful person with which to work. I had several questions that she ably answered or found the answer for me. She was patient and so helpful. The actual product appears to be a good insurance product. I researched Embrace before I requested a quote and found the company to have high reviews. So, after talking with Darcy several times, I signed a contract with Embrace.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
