I have no complaints with Embrace other…

I have no complaints with Embrace other than their APP never seams to work when I need it. Other wise excellent ! Submit claim and in 2 to 3 days your reimbursement is in the bank. Love it! If only personal health insurance was that Easy!!!

Rate tripled year over year

Embrace will not cancel when your dog gets old. However, they will raise your rate from $2,500 a year to $9,900 a year for a policy that pays a maximum of $10,000. Embrace met their contracted obligations and advertised statements for 12 years. Approach with caution.

The rep I spoke to was very understanding and said to submit my claim for my lost pet again and she’ll see if they will honor it. Anytime I had questions they were there to help me . It’s great knowing the company is truly animal friendly !

Very pleased with Embrace Pet…

Very pleased with Embrace Pet Insurance. I have the normal insurance plus the Wellness addition. I have had a few claims with the Wellness part and have found it very easy to file the claim and received a response within a couple of days. Very pleased with the quick response. I have had the opportunity to speak with customer support and was pleased with the friendly and supportive assistance.

Do not use them

Do not use them. After years (a decade and a half) of using them, the abruptly changed my monthly premium for two dogs to 1200$ from 400$, which had been steadily increasing. The maximum pay out is $10,000 because I set this up in 2010. It’s a disgrace that they treat senior dogs like this. Clearly this is a business, and they don’t care about your pets. I recommend looking elsewhere or invest the same money into a money market or low risk investment account. I will never use them again.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
