I just lost my little malti-poo and…

I just lost my little malti-poo and Embrace couldn't have been more compassionate & extending their sincere condolences. They processed claim in a timely manner. I will always appreciate their caring personnel. I also have told multiple people what a great company they are.

I'm a customer for over 15 years...

My overall satisfaction with this company is questionable. I have had coverage for my cat for many, many years. He is 18 years old. They seem, at times, to categorize services as wellness sometimes, other times it goes towards illness deductible, etc. My overall experience is they have inconsistent reimbursement, categorizing services randomly.

Great customer service

The customer service personnel which answered questions at the onset of purchasing this insurance was very knowledgeable and helpful. Since we've had the policy, they process is smooth and fast for reimbursement. This has been a great experience with a Pet insurance, especially when compared to others we've used in the past.

Claims not initially being covered!

The last couple claims I have had to fight for denied line items because they were clearly covered (which they ended up being) instead of Embrace following up with needing information and then I have to follow up MULTIPLE times before things are resolved. I have been a customer since 2018, referred MULTIPLE people and have not had these issues until recently. Very disappointing.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
