Claim submission window is unrealistic…

Claim submission window is unrealistic and hard to follow. Depending upon when your pet goes to the vet you could have as little as 61 days to file the claim or as many a 425 days to file. I am unable to file a claim for the current year, that occurred ~ 200 days ago, even after being a loyal customer of 10+ years. I don't appreciate this as I feel I found their loophole for being able to deny/not accept claims.

They are good but....

They are always asking for my dog's records when they already have that information. So I have to keep resending everything several times.

Fantastic choice for pet insurance

My brother suggested that we get pet insurance for our dogs. I was skeptical at first but then he recommended Embrace, and we started a policy. Next to having our dog's neutered, this is the best step we have taken as dog parents. The customer service is amazing and the speed of which claims are settled is remarkable. Conor and Zdeno highly recommend Embrace, as do my wife and me.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
