Amazing Company
I have to come clean at the outset, I am an employee of Embrace for the last couple of months. I am not required to be a customer, although because they treat their employees well, we are offered subsidized insurance. Having been a dog owner and foster parent for much of my life, I feel a little silly that I’ve never had pet insurance, so with our employee incentive I joined. A few weeks in, my 10 month old puppy who uses impulse to guide his behavior tried to jump our fence to go visit his dog neighbor. He got stuck on one of the spires on the fence and cut himself, requiring surgery with stitches and the accompanying pain killers, antibiotics, and anti-inflammatory meds. I submitted the bill to Embrace as all other customers do. It was processed within 48 hours and I had a check within a week. No lengthy paperwork or calls, it was just that simple. I deal with health insurance companies all the time and was expecting the same chaotic experience, but it was nothing like that. This is really a fantastic company, an opinion I would posit whether or not I am employed by them!
