So far I've been very happy!

So far I've been very happy. I've put it to good use with one of my pups this year and I came in handy with a foreign body surgery for another. I will also add that I wasn't hit with a big premium increase with the previous dog's surgery so hoping that this is due to some pretty good actuaries. I'm cautiously optimistic that I won't get punished for this my current dogs illness. But I will say that Embrace has been nothing short of amazing. They have been timely with all payments and claims processing. I took a break from insurance after having a terrible experience a few years ago when my premiums were doubling year over year with another carrier. But then when I got a second dog I revisited and chose embrace due to its positive reviews, coverage and value. I'm so glad I did!

Long time Embrace pet parent

I have had Embrace pet insurance on all of my dogs over the past 10 years and in the past two years have had substantial claims on two of the older dogs, one a cancer diagnosis and the other currently being treated for a cranial cruciate ligament tear with surgical repair necessary. The past few years since Embrace made some changes to their claims system I have had virtually no issues with filing a claim and having it reviewed and paid to the limits of my policy within two to three weeks with reimbursement coming directly to my bank account in a timely fashion. When I have had an issue with the coverage of part of a claim I have always gotten it resolved quickly by a helpful customer care representative. I have never had a representative that is not 100% pleasant, helpful and goal oriented to solving my problem. I see some people complain about the rates going up and mine have too as my dogs age and therefore are more likely to have illness claims, but I still feel my rates are reasonable, especially when I have a $6000 dollar claim like with my recent CCL surgery. I would rather pay $100 a month in premiums and get $4800 back from the surgery than have no insurance and be out of pocket for a $6000 surgery.

Absolutely the worst company for pet…

Update, after getting vet to write a leeter confirming this was not a preexisting condition. They asked for vet notes. And because he had pancreatitis in March and unrelated event in late December they say it is preexisting condition. Pleasr avoid this company if you have older dog. I had to switch after my previous insurance provider stopped providing pet insurance. I wish i never heard of this company. They twist information to fight any claim. Absolutely the worst company for pet insurance. My dog of 12 years had this insurance after previous provider closed up. Right before the end of year I ended up in ER and few days later lost him. They pulled from a vomit issues from over a year to deny my claims as preexisting condition. Totally unrelated. If you have this insurance be prepared to have to fight. And this whole experience has me re living the events when I lost my little buddy.
