Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My recent experience with Embrace was great, just as all of my experiences since 2019. The process for submitting claims is seamless, and the response is quick. Also, when I've called in, such as I did with a recent claim, I receive excellent help. Very happy to have health insurance for my two cats, Bug and Hattie!

When my pet has passed on I will never use Embrace again for my insurance needs. They don't really care about your pet they only care about money. I understand that my premium goes up each year based on our dogs age but they try to claim they don't raise your premium based on past claims, with is false. I had several claims last year and low and behold my premium increased by $140 for the year. From $116 to $256 and you can't tell me this wasn't because I had several claims. The only option was to reduce my coverage in order to get a lower premium which is absurd. Like I said all they care about is money. Insurance companies over all are a total rip off in my opinion.

They have denied some things which is to be expected with any insurance company but for the most part had had a positive experience with them regard my service dog.

My cat is very healthy, but I am still so thankful for Embrace Pet Insurance. She needed some unexpected vet care this year with testing. The claim submission process is simple and takes only minutes. They reimburse claims quickly and without effort on my part. Had I not had Embrace, I would be forced to choose between my cat's care and other (human) needs. The Wellness Benefit is also worth it, in my opinion. It takes the anxiety out of routine, annual expenses.
