Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

As a loyal Embrace customer (and Allstate Insurance agent), I always mention the amazing service we received from our Claims Embracer, Sam Adkins, when our little baby Kobe had to undergo surgery to remove one of his kidneys last month. We had our money deposited (over $6,300) directly into our bank account less than a week after the claims were received by Sam (about 2 weeks after we submitted them). Although the claims were initially misplaced, we got our reimbursements within days once Sam got on it. What a lifesaver it is to know that we have Sam and everyone at Embrace looking out for our financial wellbeing, especially when facing the most stressful of times caused by our beloved pet's illness and surgery. We have since posted our experiences with Embrace on Facebook for all our friends to see (I have over 1400 of them) and always remember to mention how amazing Embrace is to our vet, Dr. Rowan, at the Rutherford Veterinary Hospital in Dallas, TX. She is quite impressed with the service as well and wishes that her own pet insurance company was as diligent as Embrace. Despite all my efforts to avoid ticks my Chesapeake Lindsey has contracted Lyme disease twice. The second time the Lyme number was off the charts. Luckily Lindsey's kidney function was fine desite the severe Lyme disease. It's nice to know that Embrace is there for us when Lindsey is sick.

I've been an Embrace customer for the last several years and have been very pleased with their insurance options and customer service. Claims have always been paid promptly. For about $30 a month, I get excellent coverage. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering pet insurance for their companion animal(s).

I had been very satisified with Embrace until I received this last group of claims. The process was very slow. First I thought it was attributed to a software conversion. Which is reasonable to take some delay. Now today after requesting the status on outdated claims, which is unlike Embrace, I find out I have a new processor. My pup who has hip hysplasia -- I am told only 1/2 of the treatment will be paid for -- ONE leg -- pretty ridiculous -- why, the other is rehabilitated -- hugh? I am at a pause since this is so unlike Embrace. My pup goes for hydro therapy covered by the policy -- yet -- they will cover 1 leg -- I can't help 2 legs are in the hydro treadmill. Then when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was put on hold for a long period of time and no one came back to the phone.

Thankfully we have Embrace Pet Insurance and our pup has hip dysplasia. He has had surgery and extensive rehab. Embrace has been beyond MARVELOUS with covering the care our little guy needs. They pay claims very prompt and the customer service is fabulous. Every person I have encountered at Embrace is geniune and caring. Embrace is Simple the VERY BEST!
