Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

The people there are polite, but the are also not good serving customers. I signed my puppy up for coverage, and i was led to believe that medications would be covered. I found out later that prescriptions were not covered in my plan, and that i had to sign up for a separate prescription plan, but as my dog now has preexisting conditions none of them would be covered. When I asked why this was never explained to my when i called to sign up and why i was never even presented with the option to sign up for the prescription plan (which given i asked for their most complete plan would have made sense) they said it was my fault. In summary they are a horrible company that takes advantage of their customers!

This is my first time obtaining pet insurance. I've heard some not so positive experiences from Vets and other friends about delays or denial of claims and I have to say, not only did they contact me within 2 business days about my first claim but they've already mailed my check for the entire wellness exam. I have not set up the direct deposit yet but I'm very glad to have that option which I'll take advantage of after writing this review.The only thing that would make this experience more perfect is if the Vets would work directly with insurance companies like Embrace that maintain excellent reviews by their customers!! I have achieved my dreams of adopting a Toy Yorkie. After reviewing the many dog insurance policies out there, I chose Embrace. The ease of submitting her first routine claim was covered at 100% per the annual policy. I immediately received an email acknowledging the receipt of our claim and that they were working on our refund. Approximately a week later, I received a text that my check was on my way for the full amount. Also, I like having the option to have it directly deposited into my checking account. I think I picked a winner in Embrace.

I enrolled both my chihuahuas in the Rewards Plus plan and the best part is that I was able to use my insurance right away with no waiting time (for wellness). So far I have gotten back way more than I was expecting. I'm skeptical of pet insurance but Embrace is slowly changing my mind about them. So far my experience has been great. I wish they were a little quicker with the claims but they are relatively fast!

I have sung their praises before but I feel a need to do so again. Embrace is, by far, the best insurance company I've ever dealt with, of any kind. No matter how conscientious of a dog companion you might be, and no matter what perfect shape they're in or how you take care of them medically, some huge expense will eventually happen. This can break a family and make them choose between their rent payment or the appropriate treatment for the dog... with Embrace you don't have to make those horrible decisions. They pay 90% of your vet bills, provide wellness and dental care, for a reasonable annual fee. I have gotten my money back more than 20 times what I paid for it. Even my vet practice is completely sold and recommends Embrace exclusively now! Give it a try.
