Excellent Company
We bought insurance through Embrace when our puppy was a few months old. By the time she was seven months old she had developed OCD lesions in her ankles and needed surgery. Of course not that easy to diagnose. But Embrace was that easy to deal with. Every phone call was a nice experience. Very good customer service. All claims were processed fast and refunded money was paid back fast. If looking for pet insurance we are always telling people to go to Embrace.

Fantastic Service!
My 2 year old dachshund, Izzy, suddenly started making a gagging/choking sound. We rushed her to our local vet, where they did Xrays. Nothing definitive was seen in her throat but there was some swelling and air. She sent us straight to the specialty hospital for a scope to see if there was anything there. They only found swelling and a possible area that could have been a bee sting and sent her home. The following day she was extremely depressed and down and I thought she was mad at me and pouting. The next day it was obvious she was VERY sick. Back to the local vet and she was immediately put on IV fluids and strong antibiotics. She spent the day in the hospital again and came home on antibiotics and within 24 was back to herself. Needless to say this was a very expensive venture and thanks to my Embrace policy the biggest majority was covered! I have never used my policy and was so pleased with the ease of filing and the quick payment. I recommend Embrace to everyone I know! It's peace of mind that you can do everything possible to make your babies better!

Fast and responsive
I've been surprisingly pleased with the speed and responsiveness of Embrace. I was expecting to wait at least weeks after a claim was submitted and I was contacted within days and a check issued in under a week. Would certainly recommend them to anyone without reservation. They're also excellent in their communication regarding claims and coverage.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
