slow reibursement
We have been customers of Embrace for almost 2 years. Up until September 2013 we were completely satisfied. Our claims for both Wellness and medical were processed quickly and efficiently and generally had our claim satisfied within 7-10 days. However in September of 2013 the company switched to another provider and currently we have two submitted claims one for Wellness on 9/27/13 and one for medical on 9/30/13 as of this date we still have not received our reimbursement.
A policy holder should not have to wait 30 days for a claim to be processed. We have pet insurance to ease the burden of out of pocket expenses. When it takes 30 days (or more) to receive refunds it does little to ease the burden.
We will be exploring other insurance providers who offer a similar plan but with expedited claim reimbursement.
