Wellness Plan and Insurance

I am a new dog owner, with no previous experience whatsoever. I found about Embrace on the internet, and after researching against other option in the marketplace, I decided to enroll. So far the service has been outstanding, following always via emails. I used the wellness plan for vaccination, and in less than a week I received notification of the reimbursement.

Prompt Response

Pet was lethargic, trembling, running high fever and had to be taken to emergency clinic. IV brought fever down but within a day fever was back. Think problem was tick related and put on medication for 30 days. Back to normal very quickly. Claim Faxed to Embrace from Emergency Vet and check in mail within week.

First time buying pet insurance.

I got a new kitten and after having a cat that adopted me and ended up having type 2 diabetes and insulin shots twice a day, I thought I should look in to it. I have wellness on 3 of my babies and accident on my two youngest and I am very happy so far! I fax my bills and they send me checks very quickly- no issues so far, love it and recommending Embrace to my friends and family.

A very good company

A friend recommended I get pet insurance for my new puppy Sofie2. Boy was she ever right! Sofie ended up in the animal hospital for two nights with some sort of gastro problem and the bill after ultrasounds, meds, and nursing care was about $1400! I was so relieved to have this insurance. The company refunded 80% to me without any questions asked. Just provided the documentation and in a couple of weeks received a check.

worth every penny

We purchased pet insurance when we brought our 8 week old english bulldog home. Sadly only 3 weeks later she needed emergency surgery for intussusception. The surgery cost over four thousand dollars to be performed. Having Embrace allowed us to afford the surgery. After submitting the claim, we received our claim check in less than two weeks. I'm so happy that we had Embrace.. Thank you!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
