Very Pleased with Embrace Pet Insurance.

I have had Embrace Pet Insurance for almost 2 years.I am very pleased with Embrace. Their Customer Service is very good.Have not had any issues with any of my claims.Very fast at handling the claims and very courteous.Thankfully I have only needed to use my Wellness Insurance. Overall a very good Company.

Totally impressed by Embrace

Our Cavalier has been insured by Embrace for 6 years and we are totally impressed with all aspects of the company. Highly recommend. Their staff are wonderful to deal with and service has been great. Best decision we made when researching pet insurance companies and was impressed with what they offer. They have a great website. Through the years our dog has had multiple health issues and Embrace handled the claims efficiently.

Easy forms, easy filing of claim.

We asked the vet to fax our claim into Embrace right after Gracie's surgery. We received our check in the mail before the stitches came out about 10 days later.

Wonderful so far!

I had VPI with my previous Bernese Mtn Dog. I was okay with it. Didn't think they paid quite enough on the first cancer surgery but was sure nice to have some of it back. I didn't really know another one so would have put my new berner puppy on it too but stopped to read all the fine print in the back and they had added an exclusion for Histio cancer which is a biggie in berners. That was out so I asked around the club and several ladies had Embrace, had some major events and were very happy. I researched it and felt that it covered the most and was impressed to see the level of the coverage on each event until the yearly max was reached. I added wellness coverage as it gives you $25.00 over the rate you pay so felt it was a good deal.So far have just made the wellness claims and they respond immediately that it is received and let you know the amount that is on the way to you very quickly.

Outstanding customer service

My pug was suffering from excessive drooling due to dental problems. Unfortunately, he had to have a tooth removed. Due to the very comprehensive wellness program, I was reimbursed for the entire amount of the dental care costs and my refund was direct deposited to my account in less than one week. I only wish my own medical insurance could be so efficient. Thanks Embrace!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
