Canceling my policy

We chose Embrace over other pet insurance plans because it offered the most comprehensive coverage. However, after having our dog's skin condition be denied coverage because of an ear infection she had as a 3-month-old rescue puppy, we see that loopholes will be invoked to avoid paying out claims. We chose to pay for the Wellness plan to avoid situations like this, and are very disappointed with the ruling on this illness.

Highly recommend this insurance

I decided to choose embrace because of the positive reviews people gave it and it's only fair that I now too write my own review. From the ease of picking coverage and seeing exactly what you will pay for that coverage, to the fact that when you call you speak to a live person, and that person knows your name and pets name easily, to the fact that claims are never a hassle, they aren't argued, and they are paid quickly without hassle... absolutely thrilled I selected this insurance and I highly recommend that you do too!

Your Perfect Service!

A week ago my Pets was acting strange. She became lethargic and had fever. No one knew what is the cause- eventually we figured out that it was an Abscess. We tried everything we can in order to help her heal. The fact that we had insurance allowed us to feel secure and make decisions that are not money-related. Eventually- all our claims were covered. We wanted to thank you -Embrace and everyone on the Claim team- from the bottom of our hearts- for Embracing our Chicka! We couldn;t do it without you! Many thanks, Tomer, Maor & Chicka!

Don't waste your money.

I was very upfront with Embrace with all pre-exiting conditions. Well my cat go sick and suddenly they tell me his IBD is a pre-exiting condition. Really he was well for 4 years with no problems, until this this year.

Great Policy!

My Bernese Mtn Dog underwent Ccl (ACl) surgery and Embrace was exact to their coverage policy on all vet visits, surgery and care.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
