Has saved us money in vet's bills.

Our two year old leonberger cracked his molar by gnawing on a knuckle bone. I opted for a root canal rather than extraction because of his youth. The vet bill was $2100.00. Embrace sent me a timely check for $1648.00. Knowing he was covered gave me peace of mind with my decision to opt for the root canal. We are extremely satisfied with Embrace Pet Insurance.

great customer service

This is my first experience with pet insurance. After many years of being pet owners, we recently adopted 2 rescue dogs. Not knowing backgrounds of the dogs, we thought it might be a good move. One of our dogs had some minor health problems from the beginning which were considered pre-existing, but by the time we had our first annual physical and the wellness exam was covered, I felt it was a good thing. Then our 2nd dog came down with some serious issues which will take considerable time to treat. Embrace has been responsive to all communications and quick to reimburse claims. We realize we made a great choice with Embrace.

Great Customer Service-Timely Payment

With 5 dogs (3 are insured with Embrace) it seems like someone is always needing vet care. Embrace has been great about handling the claims and pays in a timely manner. Communication with this company is fantastic!

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
