Once again, Embrace came through for us.

This was the second time we filed for reimbursement through Embrace. As was the case two years ago, they responded quickly, communicated well through the process, and paid us an amount that was more than fair. I would recommend them to anyone.

Embrace is dependable pet insurance

Being a first time dog owner and buying pet insurance was new to me. I saved my receipts for a year and went to file them, I realized I was supposed to be doing it individually. Embrace reviewed my claim promptly , still considered them and wrapped up pretty fast. To my relief they are efficient and honorable. I am grateful and in the future, I will file claims promptly. Fortunately, most of my bills have been preventive medicals but I know I feel if I ever had a serious medical issues, Embrace would be on team "Popeye", my bet. Thanks

do not go there

I had insurance. My credit card did not go through so they told me about it. I gave them another one, went in the hospital. Come to find out three months later when I went to send my bills in for the last several months, they said that they cancelled my policy due to nonpayment. No one ever contacted me to tell me my credit card did not go through. Credit cards are declined every day for one reason or another. It was their responsibility to contact me when they cancelled my policy. They cancelled my coverage with no contact. FRAUD

Best Decision

I have an english bulldog that required emergency surgery after being attacked by another dog and now has environmental allergies that has requires frequent trips to the vets. Embrace has been so helpful and easy to work with. I recommended them to everyone. I wish all businesses were this pleasant to work with.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
