Good pet insurance company

I have been with Embrace pet insurance for almost half a year and filed 3 claims. I got my reimbursements very quickly. Before I purchased this pet insurance, I searched all the good-reviewed pet insurance. It seemed that Embrace has a generous policy and the monthly charge is more affordable. After being with it for half a year, I did not regret at all. Just one quick tip: buy the Rx coverage. I did not buy the Rx coverage but I added it later.

Great company, helpful people.

I am very happy with Embrace. They have processed claims quickly, direct deposit my reimbursement. They have even emailed asking if I got the reimbursement.I had VPI before and was very unhappy with the small reimbursement, they would not PreAuthorize treatment. My dog has Cancer and Embrace PreAuthorized the treatment plan, so I knew before treatment everything would be covered.

Wouldn't be able to keep my dog without Embrace!

As a college student, I wouldn't have been able to keep my dog after he was diagnosed with Epilepsy a month after adopting him. Embrace is timely in reimbursements, extremely helpful with concerns, and truly cares for all their clients and pets. I recommend Embrace every time people ask me about Troy and his insurance!

Very helpful to have insurance with 8 dogs

Ginger had surgery to remove two lumps on both his back legs. We weren't sure if they were cancerous or not. After the test came back, we found out that they were not. It was costly just to find out the results, but having insurance with Embrace helped to pay the cost. Ginger is recovering and is back to his playful self again. Thanks Embrace.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
