Distended Abdoman German Shep.

My German Shepherd was bloated from over eating after a food bin was left open, by accident. He went to the veterinarian for radioraphs and observation for the day. It was a easy decision to do whatever was asked beacuse I knew he was covered by Embrace! If you have a pet ALWAYS BUY EMBRACE INSUANCE!

Fast Reimbursement

My year-old Dachshund required emergency diagnostics after he ingested a foreign object. My total vet bill was $990, including a visit, blood work, X-rays, and medication. Embrance processed the claim and issued payment (direct deposit to my bank account) in less than 5 business days. Insurance covered all the costs ($820) except for medication, which is not covered under our policy.

I highly recommend Embrace

I have been very pleased with the ease and efficiency of the claims process, including the online status tool. Also the customer service is excellent. We have a lab and have had him insured with Embrace for a number of years. Our dog was diagnosed with a cancerous mass, and the least stressful/difficult part of his surgery was the claims process. All claims were processed quickly and exactly as expected.

Thorough, honest, and helpful

We've been with Embrace for about five years now. They have always shown the utmost care and concern, and their process is hassle free. From years in which we don't have any incidents to the ones during which we've had to depend on them, they've been honest, always helpful, and eager to do the work so that we could concentrate on helping our little guy heal. This incident was a laceration to our dog's ear. In their typical no-hassle fashion, Embrace responded to our vet's fax quickly and everything was explained to us promptly. I've come to expect the warm follow-up emails they send to inquire about

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
