Great experience dealing with Embrace

We have only been with the company for 2 months but so far dealing with them has been easy and helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

Who knew dogs had ACLs...

Right before the holidays, Walter (8 y/o puggle) busted out the door into the yard to bark at his enemy walking by. This was an everyday occurrence. Unfortunately, this time he was on his hind legs and lost his footing on an acorn. Yup, that's right. He was taken out by an acorn. He wasn't acting like himself and wouldn't put any weight on his hind leg. I got him to the vet and found out that he tore his ACL and really messed up his leg. He ended up having TPLO surgery. This was a crappy time as you can imagine and honestly I dreaded submitting a claim to Embrace. I assumed I would get the runaround and nothing would be covered. I was completely wrong. Everyone I dealt with at Embrace was super nice and were actually concerned about Walter. I ended up submitting a few claims and it was so easy. It made a difficult time so much easier. I've been with Embrace for a few years and never thought I would use it because of an acorn. Shows you that the littlest thing can change everything. I have and will continue to recommend Embrace to every dog owner I know.

Fair Claim Reviews

When our dog Molly was adopted from a county animal shelter at 8 weeks old she was a happy beautiful puppy. After she was potty trained she started having inappropriate urination while she slept. After tests ($$), it revealed she had some urine issues. She then began to have a painful mouth and bad teeth so we decided we better purchase some pet insurance for her (turns out a wise decision for us). While the urine and dental issues were deemed pre-existing and not covered, the pet insurance still proved valuable. A few months later Molly (overnight) became lame in her back legs. We were devastated. Thousands of dollars and months of testing finally revealed she has a neurologic auto immune issue. We filed a claim for this and it was denied. Embrace said it was an orthopedic issue and fell within the 6 month orthopedic waiting period (we did not complete the orthopedic waiver exam). After some back and forth and further info provided to Embrace by the doctor, the denial was overturned and the claim was paid. At just 2 years old Molly will have a long road ahead of her and we are glad we purchased the pet insurance for her. Embrace was fair with us and listened to our dispute of their claim denial. Their staff is friendly, caring and follows up. I am happy to share that Molly is doing better at this time and playing again like a puppy! Pets can be very expensive and it is wise to protect yourself with Pet Insurance as you would protect your family with health insurance.

Once Again - Excellent Service!

Charlie Brown had conjunctivitis in both eyes. This non-contagious infection was completely covered under Embrace insurance. I appreciate the fast processing of my claim and I received my reimbursement within 1 week via direct deposit into my bank account.

Great investment/ Must have for new puppy owners

Love, Love, Love this insurance. It is a must have for new puppy owner's. The support staff are always so helpful whenever we call and our claims are generally paid within 72hours. My only suggestion would be to give the providers (Vets and their staff) more education on how simple and easy it is to fill out the forms and what it means for their business.
