Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Almost a year ago I got my new best friend, an English Cream Retriever, AKC calls them a White Golden Retriever. Prior to picking him up I spent weeks comparing all the Pet Insurance policy's that available. During my first visit to the Vet, I asked my Veterinarian his opinion on the different Pet Policies. He suggested that I ask the front desk staff, they all ranted and raved out Embrace, and said that was who they personally used for their pets.

Our dog went in for a standard checkup where we discovered a sarcoma in his hind quarter. Fortunately, we were able to have it removed and treated at a fraction of the cost. Even subsequent follow up care (of course there's always unplanned / unknown adventures post-surgery, right?!) has been covered. Submitting claims has been simple; reimbursement has been prompt, communications have been clear. Only downside is after we submitted the claim for sarcoma, our chart was reviewed and several non-related 'prior' conditions were subsequently excluded from future coverage, which seemed a bit odd since they had not been excluded when coverage was offered and purchased initially.

Our experiences with Embrace have been nothing but GREAT!! Our Westie Morgan has some on-going issues that have required many vet visits. I've called a number of times with all sorts of questions and every time the representative answered my questions with patience and thoroughness .

When we decided to keep the 4 (yes 4) feral kittens we found in a rainstorm, I knew we would need insurance on them. While I did not take the wellness coverage, the accident/injury coverage has been such a great relief! Duncan was the smallest and weakest of the kittens, and has had some issues because of it, most of them gastric or urinary tract in nature. Embrace has indeed 'Embraced' our baby and helped us provide the emergency care he needed. Thank you so much, Embrace!!
