I can't say enough about how Embrace has helped us deal with many stressful situations this year with our sweet little Yoda. We adopted a puppy a year ago, never in a million years imaging all the vet visits that would entail in the short time I've had her. I have worked in the veterinary field for over a decade, so knew the importance of insurance to get, "just in case". Well, she's only 1 and her "just in cases" have already kicked in. She has alleges and is on a very expensive medication, prescription food, many visits to check skin, all the lab work that goes with staying on that medication, vomiting and diarrhea that resulted in x-rays and more meds and a grade 3 luxating patella that she just had a very expensive surgery for. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Embrace's kind and caring staff. They have covered everything beyond our deductible's, no hassles, no questions asked, just quick, professional service and turn around time. The main reason I initially went with Embrace is because they cover exam fees, which many companies do not and with multiple exams and rechecks, this has also helped us save a significant amount that other companies would not have covered. But after being with Embrace for a year, I would recommend them to anyone, for not only that reason, but because they have been nothing short of amazing. You can tell they are in this field because they truly care. I have no doubt, they have saved the lives of many pets because they have taken the stress out what could be a great financial burden. Efficient
Embrace is timely, if nothing else. Even when rejecting claims, they are quick. When I have filed appeals, they have been quick to review and even overturned their original decision (thanks to additional documentation, of course). In their letter to notify me of their new decision, one of their VPs went so far as to provide their contact info, in case I had any questions.

Great service
The wellness claim I submitted was processed in less than a week!
The customer service at Embrace is second to none. Someone always personally responds within 24 hours.
The website and policy is easy to read and understand--which is more than I can say about my own health insurance!
I highly recommend getting pet insurance if you have a fur baby and when you do, Embrace is the best choice.

Impressive staff and co.
We have been covering two dogs since January one of 2016. Although they both had some pre-existing conditions, one dog pad cranial cruciate ligament tear needing surgery. The staff was very helpful and prompt regarding information and subsequent coverage and payment. I was very impressed with their professionalism and helpful attitude. I would recommend this company two others.

BEWARE! On the verge of getting legal counsel!
Only gave 1 star bc I couldn't give 0 (zero). This company is always ready to find an excuse to not pay. Undue stress with every claim. Extremely expensive monthly premiums ($300.00 for two dogs, this is EACH MONTH! ) for the amount of aggravation you go through over EACH claim! Very slow in processing and they DON'T do their job.
They say they send requests to vets but when you call the vet the vet tells you they were never contacted. They constantly ask for medical history because they want to put things under pre-existing conditions so they don't have to pay. Even the vets ask why do they need the medical history, nothing has changed! This is the vet who says this!
Horrible customer service too. You can never get a manager. No one is there. They are in a meeting. Or, they left. Nothing but a constant argument. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
First denied they covered teeth. Had to get a screenshot from their website that advertised they are covered if fractured. Doctor told them they were fractured. Now denying it because they say they were worn. They Just don't want to pay the $2500.00
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
