Embrace is pawsome!

I've had my Dalmatians insured through Embrace for 2.5 years. They are a great company! Easy to deal with, claims pay quickly, not a lot of paperwork, and it's great to be able to customize your plan and coverage to fit your budget. Couldn't ask for more.

Recent claims experience

One of our dogs had an emergency room visit on December 20; after numerous contacts and several delays, we just received the claim check yesterday (February 28). Although the people were consistently helpful, we felt as if we needed to keep prodding to get the claim processed and accepted. This is our first experience with Embrace, and it may be that initial claims require more paperwork and processing than future claims will. We will wait and see for now.

Thank you Embrace!

Thank you Embrace! We could not have given our 7 year old boxer she needed last year. She had a acl surgery and ''tis now recovering from an ulcer in her eye.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
