Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

My dog had been healthy until last year when she needed surgery. She is fully recovered and feeling great at age 10. The best part of all of this is the fact that I have Embrace Pet Insurance. They were so helpful during my dog's surgery and responded promptly to my inquiries. I was reimbursed not only for the surgery but for treatments we tried before having surgery. I am so happy with Embrace Pet Insurance. I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best for their pet!

In order to have my dog receive early approval for the orthopedic aspect of our his insurance policy, we had to have a vet check and form filled out. At the same time, I got his monthly flea and tick meds. We do have the Wellness rider on his policy. I was delighted at how easy it was to download the form, which was personalized for our dog, and to send in the claim. Faxed from the vet office and filling out the claim form on line with a copy of the bill, was very easy. I quickly received an acknowledgement of the claim and within a week had notice that it had been approved and that all costs were covered. I wish Anthem-Blue Shield worked this way! I am very grateful to Embrace for their ability to be professional,but also, the care they extend while working with us. Our Bree was a shelter dog, so we weren't sure what we were getting into. We have grown to love her so much and Embrace has helped us keep her healthy. Words cannot express.

I have used embraced many times for my two dogs and not once has it let me down. Knowing that I can take my furry babies to the vet and know that I have Embrace that cares for the well being of them and assist with their medical needs is truly a peace of mind.

We get great service and great coverage for our cats over the last few years. We have one cat who developed a heart problem at about age 8, and we are able to get him an annual cardiology appointment to give him the best possible care to help him live longer. We've been reimbursed for one knee surgery, one very sad acute illness and death, and one neurological problem of an indeterminate origin. Embrace doesn't cover dental, but when I looked into a different company that did (when we got a new cat), I found that the "dental" coverage was only for problems, not cleaning. And only in effect if your cat had an annual cleaning. That's a lot of anesthesia that may be unnecessary depending on the cat's teeth. So we continued with Embrace for the new cat. There have been no surprises, no items not covered that we thought should have been.
