Embrace Review for Gracie

I have Embrace Pet Insurance for my 9 year old Miniature Pincher, Gracie. She recently had to have surgery for a malignant mass in her leg. Embrace was fast, efficient, and helpful in fulfilling my claim for the expenses. They were also very caring and sympathetic to my plight and always inquired as to how Gracie was doing with her recovery. I would recommend Embrace to anyone who has a pet they love because it give me great peace of mind to know I have a reliable, personable company to help me give Gracie the best medical care possible.

Thank You! So glad for this insurance...

Never wanted to use this. Lulu had 2 tumors removed and continues to receive medical care. Embrace has been there for Lulu, helping me not have to choose other options. Highly recommend this company.

So grateful we have Embrace

The peace of mind this insurance gives us is priceless. It allows us to make veterinary decisions easily knowing we have this coverage to fall back on. Reimbursement is very quick once the claims are filed.The only thing that would make this service better was if the premiums were not tied to the age of the pet and did not increase annually.

Huge disappointment

I d not know if I will renew with your company. To say a skin rash 8 months ago is related to an ear infection is absolutely absurd, especially when the Doctor states otherwise. That would be calling the doctor a liar.

Fast, Efficient, Wonderful

My dog has had her 2nd ACL surgery and just like the first Embrace has covered it as defined by the plan. It was fast and easy. I received payment faster than I would for my own insurance. Simply wonderful service.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
